This past Tuesday, the BCCI announced the 15 players chosen for the upcoming ICC tournament. The team will be headed by senior player Harmanpreet, with Smriti Mandhana supporting her as vice-captain. The selection committee focused on stability, deciding not to include any newcomers in the squad.
Since they haven't gone up against the world's strongest teams in the last six months, India might face a steep learning curve during the tournament.
