Jadeja stirs controversy with a new social media post

Ravindra Jadeja is undeniably a world-class talent, currently ranking second globally as both a bowler and an all-rounder in Test matches. However, translating that success to the ODI format has proven difficult. He was once again left out of the squad for the concluding two matches against Australia, reflecting a pattern of being overlooked—possibly due to his volatile temperament. While the team management has placed their trust in the spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav, leaving Jadeja entirely out of the rotation, the player took to Instagram on Monday. He shared a photo of himself smiling, accompanied by a cryptic and controversial caption: “According to my police report, I celebrated a fantastic night out party last night.” It remains unclear exactly what he intended to convey with this remark. This follows a previous incident where Jadeja, frustrated by his absence from the first three ODIs, posted a tweet stating, ‘Make your return stronger by your failures,’ though he deleted it shortly after. Jadeja's role in the five-match series against Australia was complicated; he was initially brought in as a backup when Axar Patel was injured. Even then, despite being available for the first three games and contributing with his elite fielding, he never made the playing XI for batting or bowling duties. Now that Axar has recovered, Jadeja has been dropped entirely for the final two games. While his fielding remains spectacular, his recent white-ball form has slumped. His performance in the Champions Trophy was underwhelming, managing only four wickets in five games, and he failed to take a single wicket during his two appearances in the West Indies.

team management now showing more confidence in Yuvewendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav in the playing eleven. They did not even place him in the next two games. Jadeja shared his photo on Instagram on Monday, in which he is seen smiling and he gave captions more controversial. It is not yet decided what Jadeja is trying to say through this caption. Jadeja wrote, “According to my police report, I celebrated a fantastic night out party last night.”
Jadeja had not been selected in the Indian team for the first three ODIs, he had also showed his anger over tweet, but he immediately deleted that tweet. He tweeted, ‘Make your return stronger by your failures.’ Jadeja not being part of the playing XI Jadeja was out in the five-match series against Australia but allrounder Akshar Patel got injured before the series started. In such a situation, Jadeja was added to the team for the first three matches as a backup, but still he could not be part of the playing XI. Fielding was done much by Jadeja but he was not given the opportunity to bat or bowling. Now the Akshar have become fit, then Jadeja has been again out of the team for two ODIs. Jadeja has done spectacular fielding in all three matches and also has many great catches. Bad performance in ODIs For some time now Jadeja’s performance in limited overs cricket was very bad with the bat and the ball. Left arm spinner Akshar Patel has done well. Jadeja had done very poorly in the Champions Trophy. There he was able to take only 4 wickets in 5 matches. He also played two matches in the West Indies and could not take a single wicket.
