The Mumbai Indians have extended their winning run to three matches after beating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 14 runs

In a clash at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium this Tuesday, Mumbai Indians (MI) outclassed Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 14 runs to secure their third straight victory. SRH struggled throughout their chase of 193, lacking a steady batter to anchor the innings. Thanks to a disciplined and effective bowling display, MI managed to shut down the SRH batters and wrap up the innings at 178.
Mumbai Indians (MI) registered their third win in a row as they outplayed Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 14 runs at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Tuesday. The hosts missed an anchor in their chase of 193 and SRH batters never found their rhythm going. It was a brilliant effort from MI bowlers with the ball to stop SRH, bundling them out for 178.

Choosing to bat first, MI got off to a promising start thanks to aggressive boundary-hitting from Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan. Although Rohit (28) looked dangerous at the start, he was unable to convert it into a big score after Aiden Markram took a sharp catch. Ishan played a helpful knock of 38, while Suryakumar Yadav (7) had a quiet outing and was dismissed early.

Tilak Verma gave MI a necessary boost with a quick-fire 37 off 17 balls. This set the stage for Cameron Green, who dominated the latter stages to score his first IPL half-century (64), including a punishing 18th over against Natarajan. Supported by Tim David (16) in the closing moments, Green helped propel MI to a final score of 192/5.

SRH's chase started poorly as Jason Behrendorff ripped through the top order, dismissing Harry Brook (9) and Rahul Tripathi (7) during the powerplay. While Mayank Agarwal and captain Markram (22) attempted to stabilize the innings, Markram eventually fell to Cameron Green. Heinrich Klaasen provided a spark with a rapid 36 off 16 balls, but Agarwal's 48 came at a slower pace. As SRH continued to lose wickets at regular intervals, the match came down to the wire, with Arjun Tendulkar successfully defending 20 runs in the final over to seal the win for MI.
