Match postponed as Swansea advances in the FA Cup
Derby County’s replaced clash with Swansea City will now be their most penultimate game of the Sky Bet Championship season.

The Rams were originally slated to play Swansea at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, March 16, but the fixture required rescheduling due to the Swans' success in the FA Cup.

The match has been moved to Wednesday, May 1, with a 7:45 pm start.

This new date falls just four days before Frank Lampard's team plays their final league game of the season against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday, May 5, at 12:30 pm.

Having secured a place in the FA Cup quarter-finals with a 4-1 win over Brentford, Graham Potter's squad will instead face Premier League giants Manchester City during the weekend of March 16.
They will entertain current Premier League champions Manchester City.

Swansea City AFC is a professional club based in Wales that competes in the Championship, the second tier of English football. Founded in 1912 as Swansea Town, the club joined the Football League in 1921 and changed its name to Swansea City in 1969 to reflect its upgraded status as a city. Since 2005, the team has played the majority of its home fixtures at the Liberty Stadium, moving away from its longtime home at the Vetch Field.
