Napoli are currently pursuing the signing of Kieran Tierney from Arsenal.

Since the Premier League transfer window opened at the start of January, the market has been buzzing with speculation. Much of the current attention is focused on Arsenal, with the Daily Telegraph reporting that Napoli are interested in acquiring defender Kieran Tierney.

Tierney has established himself as one of Arsenal's most reliable assets this campaign. With 16 Premier League starts, he has featured more than any other outfield player for the club this season, a run of form punctuated by a stunning individual goal in the 4-0 win against West Brom on January 2nd.

The Scottish star also played a key role in his national team's historic achievement, helping Scotland qualify for their first major tournament in about a quarter-century after defeating Serbia in a penalty shootout during last November's European Championship qualifiers.

Although Arsenal paid £25 million to sign Tierney from Celtic in the summer of 2019, Napoli were also competing for his signature at the time. Recent reports suggest that the Italian side is now preparing a new attempt to sign him this coming summer.

Mikel Arteta has dismissed rumors that Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah will be leaving the club before the end of the month.

The England U-21 forward has been linked with a move to West Ham, but when asked specifically if Nketiah might depart in January, Arteta gave a firm \"No.\"

On a different note, Arteta confirmed that defender Rob Holding is expected to sign a new contract. This comes just five months after he nearly joined Newcastle. The manager told the press that while they will announce it officially soon, it appears the deal is done.

The manager was less forthcoming about Mesut Ozil's future. Having been sidelined from the first team, Ozil is reportedly in discussions with several clubs regarding a January exit from the Emirates.

Ozil is scheduled to host a Q&A session on Twitter this Monday evening. When asked if he planned to watch, Arteta apologized, explaining that he doesn't use or follow Twitter. However, the boss did note that he has held similar fan engagement sessions in the past to keep supporters updated.
