Chennai: Siddharth Desai starred in Telugu Titans’ 40-29 win over Haryana Steelers in a Pro Kabaddi League match at the Nehru indoor stadium here on Sunday.

By racking up 18 points, Siddharth Desai became the catalyst for the Titans' win, effectively halting the Haryana Steelers' momentum after three straight victories. This marked Siddharth's second Super 10 of the campaign, and he, together with his brother Suraj, pushed the opposition back. Although the Titans had struggled early in the season with just one win from eight games, the Desai brothers' dominant presence showed that the team hadn't lost its nerve.

Vikash Kandola arrived in great form, having just completed a trio of Super 10s, and he fought tenaciously to prevent the Titans from taking a decisive lead.

A pivotal moment in the first half happened with eight minutes on the clock, when Siddharth Desai coordinated a successful team tackle to bring down Kandola.

Marking his 50th appearance in the PKL, Vishal Bhardwaj contributed to the first all-out of the game by helping Abozar Mighani tackle Naveen shortly before the halftime whistle.

The Titans wrapped up the first half with a comfortable 21-13 lead.

The Titans' defensive unit continued to neutralize Kandola in the second half, and with 11 minutes remaining, Siddharth Desai led the effort to trigger a second all-out against Haryana. This victory marked the Titans' second win of the current season.
