Rajasthan Royals managed to weather a storm created by Marcus Stoinis in the closing moments to beat Lucknow Super Giants by just 3 runs. Chasing 166, Stoinis delivered a powerful cameo of 38 runs from 17 balls, but it wasn't enough to secure the win for LSG. RR's bowling unit was dominant from the get-go, keeping the batters guessing all game. The victory was eventually sealed by pacer Kuldeep Sen, who executed a masterful final over to defend 15 runs.
Sent in to bat first, Jos Butler and Devdutt Padikkal started with a conservative approach. The momentum swung toward LSG when Avesh Khan dismissed Butler for 13 in the final over of the power-play.
