India vs England: Virat Kohli insists on sticking with the current lineup

With the third test at Headingley approaching, Virat Kohli believes the current team is working perfectly. Given their spectacular win at Lord's, the captain and management see no reason to tinker with a squad that is already successful.

India is expected to repeat the same XI that dominated England with a 151-run margin in the previous game. Kohli wants to keep the existing synergy intact as they strive for a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. He is also counting on a strong opening partnership from Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul.

Kohli believes his side has the strength to beat anyone and isn't waiting for England to falter. While the core team is set, he hinted that Ravichandran Ashwin remains an option. The final decision on Ashwin's inclusion will depend on a thorough evaluation of the pitch.

Should Ashwin return to the XI, Ravindra Jadeja would likely be dropped, as he hasn't been particularly effective in the last two outings. Kohli also mentioned that the players are feeling relaxed and confident following the second test victory, reaffirming his desire to keep the winning squad together.

England's bowling attack seems somewhat depleted following injuries to Stuart Broad after the first test and Mark Wood during the Lord's match. The action moves to Headingley Stadium in Leeds tomorrow for the start of the third test.
