India's bowlers put on a clinic to dismantle South Africa and level the T20I series

In a stunning display of skill, the Indian women's team cruised to a 10-wicket win against South Africa in Tuesday's final T20I. This dominant performance allowed the Women in Blue to tie the three-match series at 1-1, recording their largest-ever T20I victory against the Proteas. The chase was a formality; Smriti Mandhana stayed in top form with an unbeaten 54, and Shafali Verma finished strong with 27 runs.
Indian women exhibited a phenomenal performance to crush South Africa by 10 wickets in the final T20I match on Tuesday. Women in Blue finished the three-match series 1-1 with a dominating win, registering their biggest win in T20Is against the Proteas. Chasing an easy target of 85, Smriti Mandhana continued her fine form with the bat, playing a top-scoring knock of 54* while Shafali Verma remained unbeaten on 27.

South Africa began their innings reasonably well after being put in to bat, but the composure vanished once Shreyanka Patil dismissed captain Laura Wolvaardt for 9. The situation worsened for the Proteas immediately after, as Pooja Vastrakar ousted the experienced Marizanne Kapp for 10. Despite attempts by Anneke Bosch and Tazmin Brits to stop the bleeding, the Indian bowling unit was far too disciplined.

Deepti Sharma eventually broke the resistance by dismissing Brits, who managed 20 runs. Vastrakar continued her onslaught, taking two wickets in the 10th over to leave the visitors reeling. By denying South Africa any opportunity to rebuild, India wrapped up the innings for just 84 runs in 17.1 overs. Vastrakar was the standout performer with four wickets, supported by Radha Yadav's three.

Coming out to bat, Mandhana and Shafali completely neutralized the South African attack. While Shafali played a measured game, Mandhana took the offensive from the first ball. Despite the Proteas trying various bowling tactics to break the partnership, they couldn't find a single wicket. India sealed the victory in style when Mandhana launched a stunning six over deep square leg.
