After being put in to bat, KKR's top order stumbled yet again, with Aaron Finch (3) and Venkatesh Iyer (6) failing to build any momentum. The game shifted further in DC's favor during the 7th over when Yadav struck twice, dismissing Baba Indrajith and Sunil Narine. While Shreyas Iyer and Nitish Rana attempted a recovery with a disciplined 48-run stand, it ended when Yadav caught Iyer LBW for 42.
