Gujarat Titans (GT) breached Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) fortress with Rashid Khan exhibiting a heroic performance in the final over of a nail-biting encounter at Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium. Needing 2 runs off the final delivery, Rashid freed his arms to slap the ball up and over point for a boundary, handing GT an incredible win. Rashid, who played a match-winning knock of unbeaten 24, had his arms aloft in celebration. Earlier, GT skipper Shubman Gill played an excellent knock of 72 to keep his side on the line.

Yashasvi Jaiswal gave RR a promising start by hitting five boundaries, seemingly shaking off a dip in form from his previous two outings. However, his momentum was halted in the 5th over when Umesh Yadav dismissed him. Similarly, Jos Butler failed to replicate his previous century, exiting the crease cheaply for only 8 runs.

The Rajasthan Royals regained control thanks to a powerful partnership between captain Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag, who together added 130 runs for the third wicket. Parag contributed a vital 76 runs from 48 deliveries before departing. Samson anchored the end of the innings, finishing unbeaten on 68 with a mix of seven fours and two sixes, supported by Shimron Hetmyer's 13*. This effort allowed RR to post a solid total of 196 runs within their 20 overs.

Gujarat Titans started strong with a 64-run opening stand between Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan. However, Kuldeep Sen turned the tide for RR in the 9th over by bowling Sudharsan (35) LBW. Sen continued his onslaught in the following over, removing both Matthew Wade (4) and Abhinav Manohar (1) in quick succession. While Gill continued to play elegantly to keep GT in the hunt, Yuzvendra Chahal's double-strike in back-to-back overs brought the match to a knife-edge. Ultimately, GT silenced the home fans by completing a thrilling chase, bolstered by crucial late contributions from Rahul Tewatia (22) and Rashid Khan.
