New Delhi: This Saturday, the BCCI revealed the Indian roster for the Asia Cup. Rohit Sharma will lead the side in the absence of Virat Kohli, who has been granted a break. The team also welcomes newcomer Khalil Ahmed. The event will be hosted in the UAE from September 15 through September 28. Out of the six participating teams, five are already set: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. Introducing Khalil Ahmed: The squad features a young talent from Rajasthan, 20-year-old left-arm fast bowler Khalil Ahmed. Although his first-class record is slim with only two matches, he brings significant experience from List A and T20 circuits. He recently gained valuable exposure as part of the India A setup during the England tour in June and July, as well as in a four-match 50-over series in Bengaluru.
