The grand finale is set for February 26 at Wembley, where they will face the winner of the clash between Nottingham Forest and Manchester United.

Newcastle seized control of the game early on with a 5th-minute goal from Sean Longstaff. The sequence began with Longstaff playing the ball wide to Kieran Trippier, who easily beat Walker-Peters. After cutting into the area, Trippier set up Longstaff, who fired a low, precise shot past goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu into the bottom left corner.
This goal marked Longstaff's first home strike at St James Park in nearly four years.
