Sagar and Narender Hoshiyar lead the charge as Tamil Thalaivas dominate U Mumba in the Pro Kabaddi League

The Tamil Thalaivas put on a masterclass in efficiency to secure a convincing 34-20 win against U Mumba at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium. Thanks to this result, the Thalaivas climbed three positions to hit fifth in the points table, leaving U Mumba to slide down to eighth. The victory was fueled by Captain Sagar's defensive brilliance (8 tackle points) and Narender Hoshiyar's offensive pressure (7 raid points), with Ajinkya Pawar and Sahil Singh providing vital support with 5 points each in raiding and tackling respectively.

The game began as a balanced affair, with both teams locked in a stalemate that saw them tied 2-2 in the first four minutes. However, the Thalaivas broke the deadlock in the 8th minute after a successful do-or-die raid by Narender and a strategic tackle by Sagar on Guman Singh, putting them ahead 5-3. The lead widened rapidly when Pawar cleared the remaining U Mumba players, Shivansh Thakur and Rinku, resulting in an ALL-OUT that left the score at 10-3, firmly placing the Thalaivas in the driver's seat.

The Thalaivas continued to build their lead as defenders Mohit and Sahil Gulia recorded back-to-back tackle points. U Mumba attempted a comeback, managing to stop Narender in two consecutive raids. With a multi-point raid from Jai Bhagwan and a tackle on Pawar by Mohit, U Mumba managed to narrow the gap to 8-14 by the 28th minute. They even found themselves in a prime position to trigger an ALL-OUT when only two Thalaivas players remained on the mat.

However, U Mumba couldn't capitalize; Narender escaped with a point and Himanshu immediately delivered a SUPER TACKLE, extending the Thalaivas' lead to 18-10 by halftime. The second half started with a spark for U Mumba as Ashish scored a multi-point raid to bring the score to 12-20. That hope was short-lived, as Gulia executed the Thalaivas' third SUPER TACKLE by pinning Ashish down from behind.

A spectacular 'dubki' by Narender further widened the gap, pushing the lead to ten points. Despite a desperate attempt to stay in the fight by tackling Pawar, U Mumba's resistance crumbled in the 37th minute when the Thalaivas forced another ALL-OUT to make it 32-18. Riding this wave of momentum, the Tamil Thalaivas cruised to a comprehensive win.
