LSG delivered a complete performance, outclassing RCB in every single aspect of the game.

Lucknow Super Giants claimed a commanding 28-run win over RCB at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, their second victory of the tournament. The triumph was built on Quinton de Kock's fireworks with the bat and Mayank Yadav's lethal pace. Even though Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli gave RCB a promising start in the second innings, the fiery Mayank Yadav and a cohesive team effort from LSG ultimately shut them down.
A swashbuckling innings from Quinton de Kock and a scorching spell from young pacer Mayank Yadav ensured that Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) got the better of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. LSG registered their second win of the tournament with a 28-run triumph over RCB. Despite a strong start to their chase from Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis, RCB fell victim to the fiery pacer Mayank and an all-round performance from the other players, who helped the side clinch a commanding win.

LSG got off to a flying start thanks to an aggressive opening stand between KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock, who put on 53 runs in under six overs. RCB captain Faf du Plessis introduced Glenn Maxwell to change the momentum, and it worked, as Maxwell dismissed Rahul for 20. The struggle continued for RCB as Devdutt Padikkal fell cheaply, still battling a dip in form. Despite this, De Kock kept the pressure on, partnering with Marcus Stoinis (24) for a 56-run stand.

Fielding errors proved to be RCB's undoing, as they let the game slip by dropping two crucial catches from Quinton de Kock and Nicholas Pooran. De Kock took full advantage of the mistake, hammering 81 runs. Meanwhile, Pooran sealed the game in the closing stages with a destructive, unbeaten 40, including five sixes—one of which was a massive 106-meter hit that cleared the stadium boundaries. His cameo pushed LSG to a total of 181/5.

The chase began well for RCB, with Kohli and Du Plessis putting on 40 runs in the first four overs. However, they couldn't sustain the pressure. Siddharth broke the stand by dismissing Kohli for 22, and a sharp direct hit from Padikkal sent Du Plessis back for 19. From there, Mayank Yadav took over, removing Maxwell for a duck before cleaning up Cameron Green with a stunning delivery that crashed into the stumps. A steady collapse of wickets ensured RCB's defeat.
