Having transitioned from a career in engineering to professional sports, he has spent the last couple of years dominating the international circuit. His success was evident at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, where he earned a full set of medals: gold for the men's team, silver in the men's doubles, and bronze in the mixed doubles.
