ICC T20I Rankings: Virat Kohli falls to 10th, while KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma remain unchanged

After a stretch of international T20I matches occurring throughout last year and into early 2020, the ICC has released the latest player performance ratings. Much of the current buzz stems from India's recent comprehensive series sweep against New Zealand, a victory that has rewritten several historical records.

The latest ICC T20I rankings for international cricketers have been made public. In the batting category, KL Rahul's flawless form against New Zealand helped him secure 2nd place with 823 points. Rohit Sharma, who was also prolific in January, stays at 11th with 673 points, whereas Virat Kohli has dipped to 10th (also with 673 points), moving Eoin Morgan to 9th. Pakistan's Babar Azam continues to dominate the top spot, sitting 56 points ahead of Rahul.

India's bowlers failed to crack the top 10 in this update, though Jasprit Bumrah—despite his 2nd place ODI ranking—remains 12th in T20Is with 630 points. Mitchell Santner of New Zealand has secured 3rd place with 677 points after a successful series against India. Australia is well-represented in the top 10 with Adam Zampa in 4th (674 points) and Ashton Agar in 10th (649 points). Additionally, India currently holds 4th place in the overall T20I team standings with 46 matches played.
